This Week, Nicaragua is once again playing host to the International Surfing Association! They chose to hold the Junior Surfing Championship at Playa Jiquiliste, Nicaragua as this beach offers perfect barrels and great faces for these junior surfers to show what they are made of! The ISA kicked off the ceremony right here in San Juan del Sur last Saturday with their parade thru town and the pouring of the sand to represent the peaceful gathering of nations. Thousands of people made there way into town to see 300 Junior surfers represent over 30 countries!! Check out more photos on their site.
Over the past 5 days the Juniors have ripped the waves to shreds, punched airs and pulled into barrels! Seeing all the videos and photos always give inspiration and we are able see what the upcoming generations of surfers will bring to the sport!
