Being a surfer, it’s super important to take care of yourself. That way, you can continue that gnarly surf stoke and keep shredding! In order to do that, you really have to make sure that you are eating not only healthy, but also enough. It’s important to fuel that sick surfer bod with lots of clean efficient energy boosting foods. Here are some of my favorite go to’s that always keep me going, and keep me fueled up and stoked for the next sesh. Take a look at the breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack ideas. And of course I included dessert ideas, cause damn you deserve it after a long day of shredding!

Breakfast Ideas

Smoothie Bowl and Hard Boiled Eggs
Nutrition for Surfers - Meal Ideas for Energy to SurfSmoothie Bowl is delicious and so nutritious! Using fresh organic fruits, you can get that natural sugar spike to get you going for the day. I recommend using papaya or avocado to give it an extra creamy texture. Get crazy with it! Use lots of fruits, and even greens. Top it with some shredded coconut, granola, mixed nuts, peanut butter, honey, etc. to give it a twist. I accompany my bowl with a couple of simple hard boiled eggs, just to give me some extra protein for a good morning surf sesh!

Eggs Over Easy, Toast, and Fruit
This is my go to for when I want a more hearty breakfast. Simple eggs over easy with salt and pepper to get the protein power for surf, the carbs in the toast will give you that energy you need, and then fruit for the natural sugar. Delicious and power packed!
