This week, we had the chance to welcome 3 guests at our Cloud Farm location; Regina, Nancy & Debra and of course our internationally known Gina that has been here for a month already. We are sad to see you go, Gina, but, know you’ll be back soon, so we’ll just say “hast luego” for now!!!

We started off the week at Remanso. After 15 min of surfing, Regina stepped on a stingray! Ohhh no, what do we do in this case? YOLO, sooooo… Foot in boiling water and a shot of Flor de Caña, the local rum! She handled it like a champion and went back surfing with even more energy & determination! On the second day, everybody improved pretty quickly & the feeling of satisfaction we all got at the end of the day was amazing! Everyone had long rides and especially Gina really fought with the 2 extra paddles to get in all the waves she had!

On humpday, 2 of our chicas did our “Worked for it Wednesday” and chillaxed poolside at Playa Coco 🙂 They enjoyed their morning at the pool and had an extra massage in the afternoon! Meanwhile, Gina and Regina went surfing some of the best kept secret beaches around San Juan del Sur! How do we get to El Coco & Escameca? You need a badass local girl named Elsi to drive you there… And a 4X4! We enjoyed watching a thousand of crabs, the pelican flying right over the waves and also a cormoran (not a bird-water-snake Gina! #LOL).

After spending Thursday in Remanso, the girls enjoyed a beautiful cultural night and dinner at El Timon, one of the most beautiful beachfront restaurants around town. Everybody enjoyed watching Nicaraguan typical dances! To finish off the week, some of our guest decided to go all the way to Playa Hermosa on the boat. We jumped off the boat on the outside and we were ready to catch some big waves! The ALAS tour surf contest was being held at this beach over the weekend. It was impressive to get see so many pro surfers getting ready for the competition! On the way back to Chica Brava, we enjoyed fresh watermelon and amazing views of the cliffs by the ocean. We even paddled back across the bay, catching one last epic wave on the way back “home”!
